This course is for non-native parents who wish to improve their Dutch language skills and simultaneously become more involved in their child’s school.<\/p>\n
With the Language and Parental Involvement (TOB) course, we encourage parents to learn the Dutch language and increase their involvement in school and their child’s (language) development.<\/p>\n
The content of the courses is determined in close consultation with the school management and complements other school activities. The topics align with the school’s themes and the parents’ learning needs, such as health and a healthy lifestyle. The course pays significant attention to the role parents can play in their child’s school career. By creating a portfolio, parents are encouraged to talk, play, cook, and read together with their child. <\/p>\n
