Course features

TopTaal offers courses for everyone who wants to learn the Dutch language or further improve their Dutch language skills. We develop these courses in collaboration with our clients, such as municipalities and companies, who then offer the courses to residents and employees.

When designing our courses, we apply as many insights as possible that lead to demonstrably better results:

1. Homogeneous groups

Learning is more effective with like-minded people. Groups are therefore small, and participants have similar goals, educational backgrounds, and levels.

2. Personal

Learning is more successful when it fits a person’s individual situation. We guide students toward their learning goals, taking into account lesson times and locations, as well as the composition of the group.

3. Practice-oriented

With dual learning, you combine education and practice. Our lessons therefore provide plenty of room for practicing in real-life situations. This makes it enjoyable, and a positive atmosphere promotes learning results.

4. Inspiring teachers

The better the teacher, the better the learning result. We therefore work exclusively with top teachers who, naturally, have perfect mastery of the subject matter, but above all, can easily switch between the various required teaching styles and social interactions.

5. Consistent

Learning is faster when the lesson material is presented consistently and is aligned with other parts of the language or education program.

6. Measuring

Making progress visible is motivating. That is why we test the level achieved during intake, at intermediate stages, and, of course, upon completion of the course. By registering these results in our unique student tracking system, we can make timely adjustments and have the necessary data immediately available for any follow-up courses.

7. Pleasant locations

Accessibility is, of course, a prerequisite. That is why we use local facilities.
