Language buddy speed date
One of the activities during Literacy Week was a speed date event.
In collaboration with Stichting Leren Helpt!, we organized a speed date event between newcomers on IJburg and local residents of IJburg. The goal of this speed date was to find a buddy for the newcomer who can assist with language learning, but also engage in social activities together. With this activity, we aimed to bring newcomers (refugees) and IJburg locals closer together.
