Damian Nawrocki started at juice producer Hoogesteger as a production worker. Thanks in part to the TopTaal in the Workplace language course, he progressed to the role of team leader.
At Hoogesteger, a producer of cold-pressed fresh juices, TopTaal in the Workplace provides language training for employees who do not yet have sufficient command of Dutch. The goal: to be able to work safely with the large pressing machines and to manage better in daily life. Before I took the language course, I found it scary to explain things. Now I am no longer afraid to speak. Yes, I am completely happy now! During the course, Damian's talent stood out. Learning Dutch was relatively easy for him because he had already taken German lessons at school in Poland. In class, he didn't just learn grammar and spelling – he also read a book for the first time. Chatting with colleagues is much better now, both about work and about his great passion: Formula 1. Success tastes like more. Damian first wants to reach a higher language level and then pursue a higher professional education (HBO).
